WebI don't know Allegiant, but to me it looks like Ryan Air in Europe and only a few people used to pay extra for piority check in, maybe 1/4 of the pax, seat assingments came into play beginning of this year with RA, so if people flying Allegiant are like the people using RA over here not to many people will have paied for a seat, #1 seems to support that.

Even buying ALL upgrades, such as early check in - is far better than say SouthWest early bird brawls where a family of five buys one Early Bird to "save seats" and this phenomenon does not happen on Allegiant.
