I just converted my 1995 S10 frame to rack and pinion using the Flaming River design although I had to put the rack in the front of everything. The S10 box wouldn't work for my 1937 Ford Pickup but now it fits nicely and the steering is great. I have run both the stock linkage and rack in my car The rack wins but I do miss the power box when making a 3 point turn. The rack is more accurate and much cleaner.
